As the first point of contact for our customers you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and supporting day to day operations of our office. We’re seeking a friendly and organized entry-level receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and supporting day to day operations of our office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the insurance industry with room to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking detailed messages and directing those to the correct team member.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email and faxes.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Taking payments.
- Support the office with daily clerical tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Previous receptionist experience is a plus but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate
