My office is in East Cobb and the agency is looking for a self-motivated, career minded, confident person. This position is perfect for a person just coming out of college or someone who is looking for a career change.

DETAILS OF THE PROGRAM:
- Trained to sell property, casualty, life, health, and banking products
- You will obtain your Insurance Producer's licenses in Property, Casualty, Life & Health from the State of New Mexico.
- Will be given the opportunity to obtain your Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses that will be needed as an Agent
- 24-36 months in the Agent Aspirant role (time based upon each individual)
- Program will have set sales and growth goals to keep you on track for Agency
- Immersed into the State Farm culture and the insurance industry
- While being an Agent Aspirant you will be given the opportunity to work with our Agency Recruiters to initiate the Agency process
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain client relationships in insurance and financial services.
- Provide clients with comprehensive financial planning and insurance advice.
- Assist clients with retirement planning, investment management, and insurance needs.
- Stay current with market trends and product offerings.
- Contact 25 - 50 prospects per day via telephone
- Visit local professionals and businesses to establish networks
- Ask for referrals from new customers.
- Gather and qualify customer information for each household
- Meet with clients face-to-face to make presentations, this can be done virtually as well
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in insurance and financial services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Obtain your Property /Casualty Insurance license as well as your Life Accident and Health licenses.
- Securities licenses through FINRA Series 6 and 63 and 65.
- Ability to effectively relate to customers
- Experience with poplar computer Sofware (Microsoft products especially)
- A track record for exceeding sales goals
- Prospecting in person and over the phone to set appointments.
- Self-confidence, perseverance, the ability to remain positive and maintain progress towards a goal in spite of obstacles and adversity
- Strong listening, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative and act effectively without direction
SUPPORT PROVIDED:
- Agency will provide paid training for all sales, marketing, product knowledge, and client care situations
- Agency will provide an ample amount of leads to be worked, including internet leads, telemarketer leads, and direct mail support
- Agent will provide himself as a mentor to the aspirant and allow and "open books" environment in which the intern can learn the Agency business
- On going Agency training and development throughout the whole process, as well the day-to-day activities and client service needs
Compensation: $48,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
